EP Social Studies Department Explores Ayutthaya: A Journey to Conserve and Preserve

On June 10, 2025, the EP Social Studies Department went to Ayutthaya for an educational trip under the theme "A Journey to Conserve and Preserve." This initiative was designed with two key objectives: to explore the Toyota Green Town and the Chao Sam Phraya National Museum, and to preview the engaging activities planned for an upcoming student field trip.

At Toyota Green Town, the team delved into sustainable practices and environmental innovations, gaining insights about how green technology can help preserve natural resources and energy (water, solar, and electricity), in addition to good, earth-friendly urban planning. The visit highlighted Toyota’s commitment to environmental stewardship, aligning perfectly with the department’s mission to instill values of conservation and sustainability in students, following the King’s footsteps. They also had a tree planting activity in support of environmental care.

The second stop was the Chao Sam Phraya National Museum, where the group explored Thailand’s rich cultural heritage. The museum’s impressive collection of ancient artifacts and historical exhibits offered a deeper understanding of the nation’s past, reinforcing the importance of preserving cultural identity. This visit allowed the department to experience the educational value and logistical aspects of the trip firsthand, ensuring a meaningful and well-organized experience for students in the near future.

EP would like to thank Toyota Green Town and Chao Sam Phraya National Museum for this successful and enjoyable trip.
