ACSP is very proud to announce our latest Cambridge news.
On the 5th July 2021, Assumption College Samutprakarn was authorized as a Cambridge Assessment English Preparation Centre and Examination Venue in Samutprakarn province. This will allow ACSP to administer a large range of Cambridge Assessment English exams and teaching qualifications.
The various examinations start from our young learners in the Primary Years up to the Secondary Levels and including qualifications for teachers.


The following Cambridge English Language Assessments will be offered at ACSP:
• Young Learners English Test – Starters
• Young Learners English Test – Movers
• Young Learners English Test – Flyers

The Young Learners English Tests are for children aged from seven to twelve.
The Cambridge English Young Learners (YLE) exams are to encourage children to work by monitoring their progress.

• Key English Test for Schools -KET

This test is to assess the ability of students to communicate in basic English in everyday situations.

• Preliminary English Test for Schools -PET

This exam shows that you can communicate in English in practical, everyday situations and gives a good foundation for a professional English qualification.

• First Certificate in English -FCE

This general English qualification proves that you can speak and write English well enough to work or study in an English-speaking environment.

• Advanced Certificate in English -CAE

This general English qualification shows that your English is of a standard expected of a professional business person or an undergraduate university student.

• Certificate of Proficiency -CPE

This qualification shows that you have mastered English and can use it fluently in demanding research, academic, and professional situations. This is the highest Cambridge English qualification.

• Teaching Knowledge Test TKT) This qualification is for teachers to show their ability to teach in the English language and requires a high level of English language skill to communicate and impart knowledge to others.


Assumption College Samutprakarn (ACSP) has provided KET and PET courses for our Thai teachers under the guidance of Brother Pisutr Vapiso , our School Director , since 2019. We now look forward to extending these opportunities to our students in the future through our status as an authorized Cambridge Assessment English Preparation Centre and Examination Venue.
