ACSP and Dept. of Intellectual Property: Go for Real with a Bang!

Landmark Hotel, Sukhumvit, Bangkok – Assumption College Samutprakan swept 2 awards in the Video contest for youth “Go for Real with a Bang! Be Genuine” organized by Department of Intellectual Property, March 31, 2021.

On March 26, 2021, the Department of Intellectual Property joins the US Embassy, American Filmmakers Association (MPA), Thai Entertainment Entrepreneurs Trade Association (TECA) Japan Foreign Trade Organization (JETRO), Overseas Content Distribution Association (CODA), True Visions Company Group Co., Ltd., Bangkok University and related agencies in the announcing of the results and awarding the winner of the youth video contest "Go for Real with a bang! Be Genuine". This contest expects to draw students on the awareness of intellectual property.

Mr. Wuttikrai Leeviraphan, Director-General of the Department of Intellectual Property, revealed the video contest project aims to raise awareness of the effects of IP infringement by allowing secondary students, university students and other participants in creating works and presenting new perspectives through the filming of video clips. Provide training to educate knowledge on intellectual property.

With more than 90 participants who submitted their work for the contest nationwide and through the selection of the last 10 teams, who received 1 in 3 teams, our teams were qualified for the finals. The 2 teams received the following prizes:

Both teams received prizes worth more than 50,000 baht with their entry "Creating a Collaboration in Prevention of Intellectual Property Violations Online" to provide knowledge and understanding on cooperation in preventing IP violations on the internet which is broadcast live through the Zoom application to a wider audience as well.

The school would like to thank all the people who supported this endeavor and made us really proud.

เมื่อวันที่ 26 มีนาคม 2564 กรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาจับมือสถานทูตสหรัฐ สมาคมผู้สร้างภาพยนตร์แห่งสหรัฐอเมริกา (MPA) สมาคมการค้าผู้ประกอบธุรกิจบันเทิงไทย (TECA) องค์การส่งเสริมการค้าต่างประเทศของญี่ปุ่น (JETRO) สมาคมการจัดจำหน่ายคอนเทนต์ในต่างประเทศ (CODA) บริษัท ทรูวิชั่นส์ กรุ๊ป จำกัด มหาวิทยาลัยกรุงเทพ และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง ประกาศผลและมอบรางวัลผู้ชนะการประกวดวิดีโอ “Go for Real… อยากปังต้องเลิกปลอม” คาดดึงกลุ่มนักเรียนนักศึกษาตระหนักในทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาผ่านการถ่ายทำคลิปวิดีโอ ณ ห้องบอลรูม ชั้น 7 โรงแรมแลนด์มาร์ค สุขุมวิท กรุงเทพมหานคร

นายวุฒิไกร ลีวีระพันธุ์ อธิบดีกรมทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา เปิดเผยว่า “โครงการประกวดวิดีโอ “Go for Real… อยากปังต้องเลิกปลอม” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อสร้างความตระหนักรู้ถึงผลกระทบจากการละเมิดทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา โดยให้นักเรียน นิสิต และนักศึกษา ได้เข้ามามีส่วนร่วมสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน และนำเสนอมุมมองใหม่ๆ ผ่านการถ่ายทำคลิปวิดีโอ พร้อมจัดอบรมให้ความรู้เรื่องทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา โดยมีผู้สนใจส่งผลงานเข้าประกวดกว่า 90 คลิปทั่วประเทศ และผ่านการคัดเลือกเหลือ 10 ทีมสุดท้าย โดยผู้ที่ได้รับ1ใน3 ทีม มีทีมจากโรงเรียนอัสสสัมชัญสมุทรปราการ เข้ารอบชิงชนะเลิศถึง 2 ทีม และได้รับรางวัลดังนี้

ทั้งสองทีมได้รับของรางวัลมูลค่ากว่า 50,000 บาท นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการจัดเสวนา “การสร้างความร่วมมือในการป้องปรามการละเมิดทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาออนไลน์” เพื่อให้ความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับความร่วมมือในการป้องปรามการละเมิดทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาบนอินเทอร์เน็ต ซึ่งมีการถ่ายทอดสดผ่านแอปพลิเคชัน Zoom ให้ผู้เข้าชมเข้าถึงในวงกว้างด้วย
